What is Funarcade?
Funarcade is a hybrid Gamblefi project, blending on-and-off chain functionality across multiple chains. Our vision is to create a comprehensive online gambling ecosystem, encompassing diverse and popular segments such as casino games, lotteries, sports betting, and PvP games.
Why hybrid?
Our aim is to build each product with the ideal combination of user experience, security, and cost-effectiveness for users. However, the diverse nature of these products defies a one-size-fits-all solution.
Imposing limitations on the platform, whether opting for a fully on-or-off chain approach or adhering solely to a single blockchain, is incompatible with our mission to create the best products possible.
The Problem: Marketing Magnitude vs Player Pennies
In the realm of online gambling, spanning both traditional and crypto platforms, the financial commitment to marketing and affiliate costs for boosting new player acquisition often reaches up to 70% of generated revenue.
Compared to the colossal spending on player acquisition, revenue allocated to player rewards is miniscule. Even in the emerging realm of crypto gambling, only 3-5% of platform profit is allocated to player reward costs, typically in the form of rakeback. Result: Players provide all the revenue, but are poorly rewarded with only a small slice of the financial pie.
Funarcade's Vision: A Rewarding Future
Our goal is to redefine the existing economic model of Gamblefi, putting the spotlight on rewards and community. Instead of minimal rewards, we ask, "How much can we give back to our users and community?" We aim to create a friendlier, more equitable and sustainable Gamblefi ecosystem by redistributing the majority of platform profits back to the Funarcade community. We intend to distribute as much as 90% of the profits to our community through various channels.
We're trying something new by skipping the middlemen and giving their share of the profits straight to our community instead. Our profit distribution system is all about making sure everyone gets a fair piece of the pie. We want our community to be more than just players - we want them as affiliates and partners in our collective success.
Why? Because when we share a fixed percentage of the platform profits with our players and stakers, everyone wins. The more users we onboard, the more action, the better the rewards, and the higher goes the value of our native token $FAT.
This approach ensures that our players and community are the primary beneficiaries, while also fostering the growth of a strong community and laying the foundation for a sustainable ecosystem within Gamblefi.
